COMMETTEES
AFRICAN DIASPORA MUSEUM
This committee will be responsible for setting the foundation to create the African Diaspora Museum to promote, preserve and disseminate the legacy the impact and the contributions of the people of African descent in Latin America History and throughout the world.
AFROLATINO FILM FESTIVAL
This committee will be responsible for organizing the Annual Afrolatino Film Festival.
AFRICAN DIASPORA EXCHANGE PROGRAM:
This committee will be responsible for providing African Diaspora students the opportunity to study abroad and gain language and intercultural skills needed to succeed in a global economy. The goal of this program will be to increase students’ intercultural awareness and second language skills. The program will provide immersive learning experience in new environments and it will help students to build solid foundations for the future whether in their academic, careers, entry into the work place or as simple as been responsible members of their communities.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
This committee will be responsible for empowering the organization by establishing the connection with public and private institutions; and also, it will be responsible for promoting our participation in events, community outreach and advocacy programs.
AFRICAN DIASPORA HUMAN RIGHTS
This committee will promote projects to support our brothers and sisters affected by any kind of human rights violations.
RACE AND POLICIES
This committee will be responsible for providing a space for discussion of policies affecting the African Diaspora communities and to take actions as policies advocates.
BRIDGES FOR ECONOMIC PROGRESS
This committee will be responsible for building strategic alliances with public and private corporations which will allow the African Diaspora communities to create institutions that support economic growth through business development training and small loans for entrepreneurial projects.
